Description: The mission of this fund centers around helping motivated girls & women take responsibility for their own economic lives by developing skills, building self-esteem, and identifying pitfalls which may impede their success.
Types of Programs targeted by this Fund include:
1.Programs that help women develop the skills necessary for economic self-sufficiency through job training or by providing tools necessary to eliminate barriers to economic success.
2.Programs that encourage the personal traits girls & women need to become economically independent and confident members of American society.
3.Priority will be given to primary prevention programs.
4.Advocacy efforts towards the mission of the DGC Fund.
5.Capital requests will not be considered.
